A thread for Rosie and Edie

The Miniature Schnauzer is a smallest dog in the Schnauzer breed and originated in the mid-to-late 19th Century from Germany. The Miniature Schnauzer is a cross between the Standard Schnauzer and other smaller breeds such as the Poodle. A miniature Schnauzer is a spunky, but aloof dog who does things their own way. They tend to be good guard dogs without the tendency to bite.

Time has flown. After agonising over Rosie and whether to get a second schnauzer today we have the milestone of Edie's second birthday!

When I'm not at work, Edie is my constant companion, no matter what I'm doing she wants to be involved.

She takes liberties with Rosie but is also respectful and we never have any issues with resource guarding. Sometimes she oversteps the mark and Rosie will lay the law down. Most people would think that Edie is the top dog of the two but when you watch them, you realise that Rosie is happy to let her believe that and, in fact, Rosie is the top dog. I deliberately don't use the word dominant dog as neither display that trait.

Edie's the most beautiful, kind, loving and lovable, noisiest little schnauzer; perfect in every way. She couldn't be more loved.

Ah Happy Woofday Edie... she's adorable, goodness time flies. Love the description, sounds like of the two of them Rosie is the quiet, confident, decision maker.
