Suggestions on type of harness for 1 year old mini

Hi, we have decided to get a harness for our mini as she is still pulling quite a lot on walks and we are worried about damage it may be causing to her neck. She has only used a collar and lead before. She is quite small but a determined puller! Does anyone have suggestions for a good harness? There are so many out there. Thank you.

We use the Perfect Fit harnesses for our dogs and would definitely recommend them but you will need to train her not to pull

Leigh, do you use the ring at the front or top? Saw someone walking a cockerpoo a few days ago and they had a harness with a front ring and she said that had stopped her dog pulling.

Julie - we just use the ring at the top. Some of the harnesses do have a front ring too and I think the idea with those is that, if a dog pulls too strongly, it will turn the dog so should stop pulling. It may work but I couldn't comment from experience. We have tried to establish walking (approximately ) to heel using attention and treats from a very young age with pups. I know dogs do vary though as to how much they pull - with Magic it is more the other problem I have now that she likes to potter along sniffing at everything and taking a huge amount of time to go hardly anywhere

Thanks Leigh, yes Otto sounds like Magic. He does like to potter with his bottom up and nose down. I think he inhales grit and dust...
