Yesterday - Olly was fine. Then my partner took him out for a walk and Olly collapsed - his legs gave way.
The Vet told us that he had no nerve feeling at all in his leg - said it could be a clot/stroke/disc ect..... cutting of nerve supply.
We had 3 options - general anaesthetic to see a specialist - he's too old and too ill for that sadly.
A strong cortisone injections- which he had.
And putting him to sleep.
We are at a situation (6.20 pm) now where we have to wait and see if Olly gets some movement - if he tries to use this leg.
He's had nothing to eat at all - just water. He is very poorly
.We have to go back to Vets tmw at 6.30 to see if there is any progress - if not the sadly we will have to have him put to sleep.
I cant stop crying - im heart- broken.
Are there any members who have been through this with a positive outcome? - got some feeling back in back leg?
