Took my 15 year old miniature schnauzer- Olly - to the Vets this pm.(4 30).
His back legs suddenly went - just happened- so fast.
After examination Olly now has no nerve feeling in his left leg - leg completely dead.
The vet said it could be a clot/stroke....
He was given a strong steroid injection -
We are now waiting to see if this will create some movement - moreso, hoping Olly will try and move his leg - try and stand....
We are taking him back to the Vets tmw at 6.30 pm. If there is no positive movement then he will be put to sleep.
I cant stop crying - We are heartbroken.
Are there any members here that have gone through this and have a positive outcome?
With love to you all.
