Emily
I hope I'm okay to post about our darling Emily in here, not a doggy but a much, much loved member of our family.
We adopted Emily from the RSPCA nearly 9 years ago, she was my very first cat, and the first cat that my now hubby and I had together. We couldn't resist when we met this big pawed bundle of black and white fluff who it turned out was polydactyl (one extra toe on each foot)!
On her first night at home she slept by our bed and has been a faithful snuggler almost every night. As is the tendency with polydact cats she grew to be a fat lazy puss, who loved nothing better than the comforts of home.
After years of pure joy, we lost our darling Ems to cancer just over a month ago - couldn't bring myself to write anything down until now. We tried operating to remove the mass, but she wasn't strong enough and she took her trip to the bridge two days after the op.
We're still devastated by the loss (she was only 11 years old).
Will post some photos of my gorgeous girl soon. Run free at the bridge my darling.
xx

Re: Emily
So sorry to hear of you losing your beloved Emily. I have just recently lost my cat Giz, thankfully due to old age, so I know exactly what you are going through.
My thoughts are with you,
Take care,

Re: Emily
Emily was gorgeous and had a wonderful life with loving owners who miss her dearly. She was a happy cat and this is what any cat would dream about. You gave her the best life she could have had and you will keep great memories of her forever and that is why we decide to live with our animals. Run free, Emily

have the courage to stand up for what you believe to be right, even if everyone else is sitting down, as long as you are prepared to be hammered for it.
