Re-homing and Rescue dogs

Hi,
Just a sugestion, but I think at the top of Re-homing and Rescue dogs, there should be a sticky with each of the four clubs re-home and rescue details of the person to contact details, it is not always the secretary, with also a link to the websites. (kiss)

Fabulous idea, then we can just link it when people ask about rehoming instead of repeating ourselves.

sorry that was meant to be in forum sugestions.
All the info needed is in the club mags or on the club websites.
I know some clubs have a waiting list of people waiting to adopt schnauzers. (cool)

It is a good idea for a sticky but I'm not a club member. If anyone has access to the details and wants to do up a post I am happy to make it a sticky.

I think just a link to the various clubs rescue pages would be all that is needed. That should give people all the contact information they need.

If for any reason you need to rehome a schnauzer, first contact should be your breeder, a good breeder will help. Second contact the relavant schnauzer club. The secratary is not always the rescue coordinator.

It's looking good Chris.
Should it also apply to someone who wants to give a home to a rescue dog. At the moment it looks like it's for people wanting to rehome their own dog.

Yes, the rescue people need to have a list of potential homes available for these dogs in need of a new home!
