Hey up

The Giant Schnauzer is an example of working breed of dog and has a dense, coarse coat that protects them against the elements and vermin. The Giant Schnauzer is the largest of the three breeds.

Hey up

Post by sizzler »

Hi all , another giant sizzler owner from Chapel-en-le frith . My
name is Grant and me boys name is Charlie , a fine example
from Mudmops stable ! I think per capita Chapel must be the
home of the schnauzer ! More sizzlers than you can shake a
stick at , Big ones , little ones all colours . All great dogs .
Charlie or chazy is Giant a very verbal bouncy 19 mnths
old . I think some of his brothers and sisters may post on here.
I am startin agility class with him soon to try and channel some of that bounce , so if anyone has any tips on agility with giants like how to
stop them attacking you when you run with them :)
To Enzo we go round Fernilee reservoir in Whaley Bridge , dogs love
it, always other dogs to play with / joggers to chase . There are sighned
paths round the reser through forest . Its not far from Mac

Welcome to the forum. charlie sound as if he is a bundle of fun.
We too have a Giant by the name of Max who will be 3yrs next week so i understand what you mean about burning off some of their energy especially as pups. Max is much quieter now but can still have his mad moments.
somedays we cannot wait for him to put his head down at 7pm the same as we used to do with the kids. So we can have a relaxing end to the day.

You have sister in London on the Isle of Dogs!!! Her name is Rita. Once upon a time my friend and I travelled all the way to Mud Mops (Chapel-en-el-Frith) to fetch Rita and we had my friend's giant in the car. What a journey!!!! Unfortunately Puma died due to cancer last year. The same day my friend Kasia got another giant. You can never stop... And Mud Mops hello to you from Rita and Boris!

A naughty beauty. And her "brother" Boris.
