Have just looked at that site, I might have to give them a go soon.

Re: BARF Shops list
Will do, I still have quite a freezer full at the moment so I'll probably order some in a few weeks.

I saw them at the show yesterday.
The stuff looks really good but also very pricey too. I think I have to give this one a miss

I'd love to feed BARF but yes, it's so expensive and I'm not on a big income, so it's Purina for mine.

Re: BARF Shops list
Not all the Barf is expensive. You have to shop around and find a few places. I get my tripe from my dog training club which is about £20 for 60 pound and chicken frames from the local butcher which he sells as left overs.Maisyfreds wrote:I'd love to feed BARF but yes, it's so expensive and I'm not on a big income, so it's Purina for mine.
You might need abit of space for a doggi feezer (cool)

Re: BARF Shops list
BARF isn't expensive I spend far less now than when Spencer was on dried food.
I have now tried that new one, it is expensive but it will fill the gaps if I get the Landywoods delivery wrong or I misjudge what I have left because they deliver when you need it unlike Landywoods which is once a month.

Re: BARF Shops list
I agree with BFG I find BARF cheaper than either wet or dry food I have used before and I know there is no additives in anything. I should try the landywoods etc but I find it so easy with the butcher here.

Re: BARF Shops list
If your Butcher is good then why worry, I would do the same but I know I wouldn't be able to get enough especially in the summer months, my butcher hasn't got enough chiller space to keep stuff for too long.

Re: BARF Shops list
My pups breeder recommended I look at Anglian Meat products. They do deliveries and have a list of local suppliers for Natures Menu and Prize Choice. Also linked to the UK BARF Club

Re: BARF Shops list
I've just stumbled across 2 new suppliers.
http://www.berriewoodwholesale.co.uk
I ordered some free flow lamb and tripe from them yesterday afternoon and it's here this morning, they deliver every week and I was just lucky they deliver in my area on a Thursday. Quality looks excellent, I'm sure Spencer will let me know at dinner time!
http://www.thedogfoodcompany.co.uk
I will try this one shortly and let you know.
PERHAPS ON OF THE MODS CAN GO THROUGH RECENT ADDITIONS AND ADD THEM TO THE ORIGINAL LIST AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE, THIS WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL SO PEOPLE DON'T HAVE TO SCROLL THROUGH TO FIND THE DIFFERENT COMPANIES. MANY THANKS
